What is Spin2000?
Spin2000 is a Microsoft Windows®
based software utility
designed to be run on a personal computer (PC). A standard PC COM: Port
is used to communicate with any Laurell Technologies Model WS-400/500 Series
Spin Processor.
What is the program's purpose?
Spin2000 provides an easy-to-learn, time-saving way to enter and store
processes, working to shorten development times. The convenience and
efficiency of off-line process development gives the operator access to
the vast storage and interactivity capabilities on their existing PC.
Once the program is developed, the process can be downloaded as a
spinner-located program. A change made
at the spin processor can also be uploaded for further development or
stored as a historical record. Larger programs can also be run directly
from the PC in remote mode. The PC can also simply monitor the spin processor.
How does it work?
The program window displays all program steps continuously in real time
as the spin processor runs (see screenshot).
What's next?
We will continue to improve the product and would be very interested in
adding more functionality and increasing its ease-of-use. One full year
